Happy Birthday!

Cash Jayr Francisco

Born 1.5.2012 at 12:09pm
Weight: 6lbs 7.8oz, Height: 18.5 inches

Buddy and I have been truly blessed with this amazing little boy, and are absolutely loving being parents to Cash! Our lives are forever changed...

On Wednesday, 1/4/12 Buddy and I went to our routine 39 week pre-natal appointment thinking we would be told "No baby today, go home and continue to wait...."
But.... My BP was slightly elevated, possibly from Buddy's driving on the way to our appt, but none the less, it was concerning to our OB Doctor. She decided to admit us to the Labor and Delivery Unit for overnight observation with an induction in the morning.
Buddy and I couldn't believe it, it was finally happening...After 9 long, exciting, and emotional months, we were going to be meeting our son very soon! Reality set in, we were not leaving this Hospital without a baby in our arms!
Wednesday night was pretty uneventful, just rested and tried to get some sleep before our big day on Thursday. Our induction started bright and early, at 7am Thursday morning. By 9am I was having some pretty good contractions, so my OB Doctor decided to "break my water" and move things along even faster! Faster was right, we were pushing 2 hours later and Cash was born at 12:09pm! We were told that we won the prize for the fastest delivery of the day! Our nurses and Doctors were amazing, which made this whole experience that much better!

Here are just a few pictures from that day...I could post tons more, but think Cash is stirring in his bassinet. Time to eat!

I won't post too many of Buddy and I, as I am sure you are all dying to see our newest, cutest family member, Mr. Cash!
