Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Here's hoping everyone had a great St. Patrick's Day!
We celebrated by making corned beef and cabbage at home this year, and inviting some of our neighbors over to join us for food and Irish beer. Buddy even made home made rolls...delicious (quite the little baker he is)! After we ate, we took Cash in the stroller and walked up to a block party that the outdoor shopping mall near us was putting on. Cash slept through the whole thing, even a live band!

Last year I ran in a St. Patty's Day Race and wore this hat. I had to make Buddy wear it for one picture this year (much to his disliking)!

Hope you all have a great week! Buddy is out of town for work this week, visiting Virginia so it is just Cash, Bella, and I!

Love you all!
Britt

March Madness...Where does the time go?

Here are some recent pictures of Cash, I cannot believe how fast he is growing! He is now smiling all of the time, and talking up a storm...he loves to have conversations with Mommy and Daddy and anyone who calls on the telephone!
He has also started taking a liking to Skyping!

Wait until you see my Cowboy boots!

Cash figuring out how to hold onto his Sophie giraffe (which of course, goes right into his mouth)!

On Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays Cash and Mommy take part in a Mommy/Baby workout group called Stroller Strides. We usually meet at the park, sometimes in the Mall if it is raining and get an hour long workout in...all while pushing the babies in their strollers. This is Cash's workout sweatsuit, as you can see, he pretty much naps the whole time! It has been a great way to meet other Moms in the area!

And lastly, our newest challenge....Getting Cash to take a bottle! He has been taking a bottle and pacifier since he was 2 weeks old, and then all of a sudden last week he decided to boycott them both! We have tried several different bottles, 2 different pacifiers, Mommy feeding and Daddy feeding, feeding while awake, feeding while happy, and feeding while half asleep in the middle of the night. None of which have worked! This is the face he gives us each time, and one time he even laughed at Buddy when he tried to give him the bottle!
Gramma Wanda even suggested trying Diet Coke in the bottle (Thanks, Mom)!
So, if anyone has any suggestions, we would gladly take them!

Cash and Bella

I can tell these two are going to be good friends in the upcoming months...

Bella definitely has had some adjustments made to her routine, having Cash now in our lives, but she has been a great dog through it all! At first she was very curious of the new baby, and didn't sleep much as she was up each time he was up crying in the night. Now, when I go to feed Cash at night, I can hear Bella passed out, snoring in her bed!
Now that Cash is a little older, and is playing with his toys on the floor, Bella is again more curious. If we are not careful, she try to sneak a lick of Cash's toes! Also, after accidently being run over several times, she is starting to get used to going on walks along side the stroller!

All I can say is she is in for it once he becomes a little more mobile!!

Visitors, Visitors, and More Visitors!

Sorry that I am just getting around to posting these pictures now, I forgot I had pictures on another camera. These are from when Buddy's sister's came to visit back in January (he was 3 weeks old), look how much he has grown! Also, are some pictures from when Buddy's good friends from Washington came to visit at the end of February...

2 months old...Already!

Wow, time is flying by! Cash is already 2 months old, and growing so big.
Here are his latest stats from our Dr. appt yesterday: 10lbs 13oz and 22inches long, which puts him in the 17th percentile for his age!
He had to get 3 shots at this appointment, but did suprisingly well...I can't say the same for his Mommy! You would think I would have handled it a little better, being that I do this for a living, but it is so much different when it is your own little one. I am still sad just thinking about it...

Here are a few pics from the past week...Enjoy!

Mowhawk before bathtime!

Tummy Time!

Hope everyone is having a good week, it is sunny and in the 70's here in Dallas. Miss and love you all, XOXO's...
