We've Officially Joined the "2 Under 2 Club"

Yes that's right, 2 children (BOYS) under the age of 2 years old...2 in diapers, 2 in cribs. Needless to say, our lives are a bit busy!

Regardless of this, I am going to make a better effort at posting to our blog this go 'round (its only been 15 months since my last post)!

 

Here's a little update on what we have been up to lately:

On September 13, 2013 at 7:20pm, we welcomed Crew Wesley Francisco to our family, making ours a family of FOUR!

 

8lbs -- 20 inches

 

 

Crew is a sweet, sweet baby who makes a perfect addition to our family. He is very easy going, and an amazing sleeper which is such a nice relief for us. Cash was not sure what to think at first, I don't think any "baby talk" before this day could have prepared him. He is getting good at saying "baby," and had "Crew" down by the time we brought him home from the hospital. As with any toddler, we have to watch Cash closely around his new baby brother, as he likes to point to (poke) his eyes and try to pick him up.

 

 

 

We are so thankful for all of the cards, calls, visits, and gifts from family and friends and cannot wait for each and everyone of you to meet Crew and see Cash in action as the wonderful big brother that he is.

Yesterday was our first day of Bathtime Babies, a swim class Cash and I are taking to help get him used to the water (and hopefully enjoy bathtime at home more)!

The pictures say it best, but he LOVED the water!

And the best part is, we came home and he LOVED bathtime, too!

These are his stylish swimming pants, the babies have to wear 2 resusable swim diapers, just in case of a code brown!!

4 Months

After we got back from Montana, we had Cash's 4 month check-up. Here are the latest stats:

Weight: 13lbs 10oz (11th percentile)

Length: 23.8 inches (3rd percentile)

He did so good with his shots this time, turning into such a brave, big boy!

Also, his Pediatrician said we could start solids. I waited until 5 months to start, and then slowly introduced him to oatmeal. He was a little unsure at first, but now you can't shovel it in fast enough!! He is also drinking from a sippee cup (so maybe now Daddy can babysit)!

Cashy's 3 Month Photo Shoot

While we were home, a friend from highschool came by my parent's house and did a little photo shoot with Cash and Keller. It only lasted about 15 minutes total, as someone (Cash) was a little grumpy! She did a great job, and captured some cute pics!
