Brooke's Baby Shower

We had originally planned our trip to Montana in April to help host my sister's baby shower, but things don't always go as planned (and babies don't always wait to come until 40 weeks)!
Keller Michael Watt was born April 16, 2012
5 weeks early, but weighed as much as Cash did when he was born!
Mom and baby did great, and best news of all...Keller only spent 3 nights in the NICU and was discharged home with Brooke and Jeremiah.

We still had Brooke's shower as planned, and Keller joined us as the guest of honor!

Mommy Brooke

Camryn, Mikayla, & Morgan

Great Aunt Jaci

Lots of great food (way too much)!

My best friend, Molly also joined us. Her first time meeting Mr. Cash. Sleeping baby...she's a natural at this Mommy thing :)

We made onesies for Keller

Lots 'O Babies! This will be so fun watching them all grow up together.

Great Aunts Tammy and Tracy, and our favorite Anna!

Wait, there's more...

I just remembered that I had a whole other disc of pictures saved from our Montana trip.
Here it goes, Enjoy!

And sweet little Keller, in his big boy clothes...still sleeping!

Next stop...Montana!

On Monday, Buddy flew back to Dallas to get back to work and Cash & Mommy boarded another plane this time to Montana. Again, Cash did great...slept the entire flight (except this time much smaller plane, and much less room so I was so thankful that he slept)! My parents were at the airport anxiously awaiting our arrival, as they had not seen Cash since he was about 10 days old! It was so nice, and such a relief to step off of that plane and be home with family.

The next 3 weeks were spent relaxing, catching up on sleep, getting to know my new (and ADORABLE) nephew Keller, sister time, and much much more! Here are some pictures from our time in Montana.

Cash and Keller's first meeting (Cash is not so sure what to think, and Keller at this point pretty much just slept through everyting)

By this picture Cash was much more happy with his cousin...and Keller, still sleeping!
It is so special and amazing to be able to go through this all with my best friend and sister...we spent many days just sitting around with the babies playing, feeding, and talking baby talk! Exactly what I had been needing!

Cash had his own sleeping quarters at Grandma and Grandpa's, as did Bella. Those 2 were spoiled, catered to (and held) our entire visit!

I was also able to spend my 29th Birthday at home with family, definitely missing my husband tho! Our entire family was there for Brooke's baby shower, so we all celebrated together. My Mom made my favorite, strawberry pie just like every birthday of mine growing up. Buddy remembered too, sending me flowers and a Taco John's giftcard. He sure knows how to win me over!!

Cash also celebrated his 4 month birthday while we were home. Here is my big boy, 4 months old!

Cash rolled over while were in Montana, and started to find his voice. He was constantly screaming and screeching anytime he was awake! He loved playing with Keller's toys at Grandma Wanda's house, and even ventured out to his very first soccer game to watch my cousin, Caleb play!

He is still a little small (short), so we had to add a few inches with a couch pillow :)

Cash and Keller at their very first sporting event...they both slept, stayed covered, and lasted outside in the howling wind about 5 minutes! Go Caleb!

The time in Washington and Montana flew by, and we were so sad to leave everyone and head back to Dallas, but we were definitely missing Buddy....
We will be heading back to North Dakota at the end of June for my Great Grandma's 95th birthday, and then Cash and I will ride back to Montana with my parents for a few weeks for my best friend, Molly's wedding in Missoula.

At the airport, waiting to board our flight back to Dallas.

Until next time...XOXO's!

It's Been Awhile...

I know its been forever since I have posted to our blog, we have been super busy these past few months and time just seems to fly by! I can't believe it has been 2 months since my last post, I don't even know where to start.
Thanks to my good friend, Laura, for reminding me that our blog was looking a little sad these days!!

The middle of April led us to Washington to take Cash home to see his family and friends. This was Cash's very first plane ride, and he did awesome! He slept the first 3 hours of our flight, and played with Mommy and Daddy the last hour! We couldn't have asked for a better flight. Getting to the airport was a bit of a challenge, as nothing could have prepared us for the complete chaos of traveling with a baby AND (yes, thats right) a dog! Bella also got her wings that day! Looking back now it doesn't seem so bad, but at the time we were stressed (and we were there over 2 hours early which has never happened for us). We had 4 checked bags, 4 carry-ons, a stroller, a carseat, Bella, and Bella's kennel. Luckily, it was smooth sailing once we got through security!

We had a great time in Tacoma... Cash met his Grandma and Grandpa Francisco for the very first time and loved every minute he spent with them! It was also his first time meeting his cousins, Kayla and Kelsey and Uncle James. I can tell already that Kayla and Kelsey will be some of Cash's favorite babysitters!

Over the weekend we had a little "Meet Cash" party at the Varsity Grill in Tacoma. Cash got to meet all of Mommy and Daddy's friends (and their kiddos). Well, actually he managed to sleep through the entire party. We did get a few pictures, BUT I lost our camara...so sad (I am sick that I lost all of those pictures)!!

Here is the only picture I do have, Cash with Buddy's cousin Charles and his son, Justin.

It was so nice to see everyone, and for those few days we were in Tacoma, it felt just like old times. We were so sad to leave, but that much more excited to hurry up and get back to the Northwest!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Hoping you all had a great day spent with family and friends!
We were unable to be home in Montana or Washington, so spent our Easter here in Dallas.
We woke up, and enjoyed seeing what the Easter Bunny brought for Cash. After a relaxing morning, we ventured to Easter mass, Cash's first trip to Church. He did amazing, slept through the entire service (organs, trumpets, and a full choir)! After mass we went to brunch, just Buddy, Cash and I.

My Mom's cousin, Natalie and her family had us over for lunch...the theme was "Cinco de Easter," so we enjoyed a Mexican-themed meal. Delicious!! Cash enjoyed playing with Reagan, Natalie's little girl and watching all of the other kids run around searching for eggs.

This is Cash's second outfit of the day, just as we were about to start taking pictures, he had a "code brown" incident. For those of you that don't know what a "code brown" is... it's a blowout, through the diaper and all over Mom!!
After a change of clothes, here he is happy as can be and ready to go again!

Impossible to get both Bella AND Cash to look at the camera at the same time for a picture!

Bella digging in Cash's Easter basket, uh-oh....
Looks like she found a treat for herself!

Cash and Reagan reading...he loved all of the new toys at her house!

Happy Easter!

Counting down the days until our trip to Washington and Montana...11 to go! See you all soon...XOXO's!

Cash and Daddy Time

This weekend I got to catch up on a little bit of sleep, as Buddy offered to get up both mornings with Cash and let Mommy sleep in. Ahhhh, so nice to wake up on my time and enjoy a cup of coffee to myself again. Cash is getting to be so cute now, he absolutely loves his Daddy. When I would wake up all I would hear is Cash talking and laughing, and this is what I saw (with of course, Sports Center playing in the background)...
